Her family, the Lanes, have lived in Clevedon since the early settlement days. Robyn is an examiner for the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists and on the New Zealand committee of the College. She is a trustee of the charity Healthy Pets New Zealand which supports research into improved health and welfare for New Zealand pets. She completed her Masters in companion animal internal medicine (MVM) through Massey in 2011. Her research for her Masters thesis developed a novel surgical treatment for skin cancer on cats’ noses. She has a particular interest in internal medicine and dermatology. In her spare time (when she has any) she enjoys gardening, tramping or preferably a good book and glass of wine.
Bronwyn is the clinic manager and the group's clinical educator. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in the UK some time ago. She has worked for various clinic types, from general practice, referral practice, Blue Cross charities and the Royal Veterinary College ICU and ECC rooms. Her passions are emergency medicine, anaesthesia and all things pain. She enjoys sharing knowledge and loves to train and educate colleagues. She is a local living in Hunua on her 20-acre farm with her husband, three kids, and many animals, from sheep and calves to three horses. She spends her spare time enjoying the farm, riding, or learning and being nerdy!
